Yesterday I went shooting the San Clemente pier again. It was very overcast with no colors up until dusk. Again, my better images could only be captured at dusk.
This time, I left my 24-105L home and brought my 24TSE and 90TSE. There is a lot of shifting and tilting going on applied to the shots posted. I used the Lee square polarizer in most shots.
I hope you like it. Best, Fred
#4 for me, love the great depth of field and the clarity, besides the light & comp. Good captures all the way around.
How's that new printer working out? Test any of the paper mentioned a few weeks back?
Fred these are all great. I think I like the last one the most. I also have the 24 tse. Once I got past the learning curve it quickly became my favourite lens. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for all the comments!
Number 4 is also my favorite and it was the last photo i took before packing. Go figure!
The first one is a panorama of 2 shifted images. As you can see, I did a lot of walking...Today I went back there and took more shots with the 17TSE and the 24TSE+1.4x extender. I will post some later. I did test the 17TSE with the a custom filter adapter I made. Details on the adapter were posted here: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1081875
Chiefdog72, you will love the 17mm!
Best,
Fred

What's gotten into you, Fred?? Really great to see so much of your work!
Really lovely set. My picks are the last 2. Love the higher key look and the fg interest in the 3rd, and yep, the last is masterfully done!
I would hang the first one on the wall, as i love a vast dramatic sky. It appears that Photoshop did not have trouble merging the two. I hope to merge some fairly long exposures of skies so I will see how that works out for me..
