Yes! The fox got the two dogs and took them to feed its kits!
I swear I did not bait the fox. There was this young couple with a child having a barbecue.
When the family had their fill, two hotdogs were left. The fox patiently waited in the bushes for hours till the barbecue cooled down. It then jumped on it, took the 2 poor dogs by surprise in a very brief fight. That's when I got the picture.
Saba, the topic title, the anacdote and the excellent photograph all work beautifully together to create one of the most amusing posts on FM. Thank you.
Thank you Peter. That is very kind of you. The shot was taken at the Irving Nature Park in St. John. New Brunswick, Canada. They have these large barbecues for the public to use.
It was in the early spring and the fox was actually quite skinny from a sparse winter.

Hi Tim,
Thanks.
I will be down your way in a weeks time. Maybe you can show me that owl in your area. Or better still know of a good Greek restaurant in your neighborhood? (Tried Tarpon Springs but did not like what they had to offer)
Hmm - the Owls nest is only a few minute drive from Tarpon Springs. If you're in this area I'd be happy to show it to you
And as far as Greek food goes Tarpon Springs is the Greek capital in these parts - maybe you just didn't find the right restaurant?
FYI - cold front here tonight and 30 degrees But it'll be 80 by Wednesday again
Hi Tim,
I know of a fantastic Greek restaurant in Ybor city called "Acropolis". My daughter also has gone to another branch of Acropolis (same owner) in St. Pete. She says its just as good.
