Hi everyone. I'm Bill and have lurked for years on here as a visitor and admirer of many your works. I feel now I may be able to take the next step in my development by sharing so I can get some experienced eyes who can help me take my game up a notch. Don't be holding back-I have thick skin and need some guidance. Thanks in advance and I look forward to being a contributor in the future. BQ
A lot of portrait oriented photos here that are hard to view - I have to scroll to see the whole pic. That is not a critique of your skill, just your posting method
Pic wise, I'm a bit torn.
25 - Edit is weird. Not sure how to fix it.
23 - Interesting facial expression that I wouldn't have kept.
21 - Titanic, Really?
20 - Some of that vinny needs to go.
15 - Straighten those lines.
13 - Like the pose, not sold on the edit.
9 - Would be stronger with straight lines.
The winners for me: 4!!!!!!!/7/15/17/18!!!!
LOVE your high key portrait in 1. Perfect executed IMO.
I agree with bwield. Lots of solid shots, but your "okay" ones, and not so okay ones bring the series down a notch. 15 would be a killer shot, but the horizontal slant and cut-off feet take away from that. I agree with what they said about 13 -- beyond the vignetting, did you see his expression?
Love the high key shot in 1. Love how you had her in focus in 4. Really fun shot in 11.
Just my thoughts. Great start, looking forward to seeing more from you.
Ron
P.S. It would help if you found a more attractive couple. (If that were possible.)
I really respect the critical eye you all have and respect the advice given. I think I have some hiccups I need to work on. Thanks. I will be sharing more as we get into the season.
