They buy up 58mm f/1.2 Noct-NIKKORs too, or at least, used to.

I could find no mention of the 28/1.4 at the link. NASA received delivery of 14-24's along with the D3s bodies.

That lens was never so popular. The price was quite high to start and then many of us chose the 20-35/2.8 instead.
