Looking for new tripod with the following:

Reasonably lightweight and compact. Daytrips only so don't need ultra light.
Ballhead with seperate panning unlock for panos
$150 or less.

Thoughts?

is there anything else you'd like to add?

you can get the legs but you'll be short on the ballhead. you need to think of your tripod not as an accessory but as a tool of composition.
