It's my main lens. I also use it on a DX camera, so it's effectively 75 here. Love it. If and when we move to FF, it'll go to my wife on her D700 and I'll take her 35/1.8.
I got one of these and have sold my 50/1.4g. I use this more b/c it move's faster.
I had the Sig when it first came along but sold it as the AF was much slower than the nikon counterpart. Loved the look though.
Bear in mind, I have little tolerance for slow AF and returned my 24/1.4 Nikon for that reason too. So, if you want fast AF, great pic quality (though not quite with the 1.4 Sigma) and lower purchase price, the 1.8g is the one, IMO.

Yourmthe first person ever on this board to say the Sigma is slow to focus. Infact everyone here and on the canon forum praises how fast the sigma focuses. In my experience the nikons don't come close in focus speed. The Nikon 1.8 for the price is absolutely the best of the bunch. The focus is between the sig 1.4 and Nikon 1.4 but is much more accurate and is in a smaller package.
