This first shot is one frame after my avatar shot. Not as sharp as I wanted, but lots of action. This eagle caught me by surprise, as it flew directly towards my blind and landed on the ground about ten feet behind me.
These are old shots and EXIF is embedded. All shots were taken from blinds and the eagles were not aware of my presence at any time.

These fine shots just show that for a range of wildlife photography types, the blind can not be beaten.....which is also similar to saying that proximity to target trumps focal length.
