You won't need parallax correction with the EVF. Of course, we don't yet know if it's good enough for effective manual focusing when zone focus isn't appropriate.
I expect the adapter is simply an extension tube designed to give the proper register; nothing more.

ah yes, the evf... I keep forgetting
if it's just an extension tube how come it's taking them so long to launch it? I mean ok you need time to offload your lenses first, but you need a better excuse than "oh, it took me 6 moths to accurately measure exactly where to cut that flange"
