24 mm f/1.8 Zeiss (worth every penny)
35 mm f/1.4 Voigtlander (currently on sale here- 24 works out better for me.)

No more lens purchases planned.

I still have D700, 24-120VR, 70-200VR. I sold everything else this fall (D3, D90, D7000, 80-400VR, 105VR, 38-70, 17-25, Gitzo, Wimberley, Markins)

Here are the ones I've used so far on the NEX 5N. From left to right:
Zeiss Jena 135/4
Rokkor 58/1.2
Samyang 14/2.8
Rokkor 21/2.8 (on cam)
Isco Göttingen 50/1.9
Contax G 21/2.8
Contax G 90/2.8
Contax G 28/2.8
Contax G 45/2
(not shown: Sony 18-55)

The one missing on the picture is something similar to what took this image, a (Samyang) 35/1.4 on a FF, ie something like 23/1.4. If such a thing existed I would not have the 5D2 anymore. Probably.

Also it seems like having 3-4 different types of adapters is the norm. Not many people are sticking to 1 type of alt lenses (by mount).

Yeah, it's been my goal to migrate to one mount, with the Contax G 90 being the exception (I don't use that focal length a whole lot.) The lenses carry smaller when there isn't an adapter stuck to each of them.

And the CV adapter you are using is quite small to begin with.

The adapter depth is the only real negative about the CY's for me. It makes the 35-70 look silly.

Nope, not without a mount conversion. You can use all Minolta Maxxum AF lenses and Sony a-mount lenses natively on Sony a-mount.

I had a Rokkor 50 1.7 for a short time, the Oly 50/1.8 that I had was better optically, although I sold them both.

Douglas, have you given the CV 90/3.5 APO Lanthar a shot? Different lens than the G 90 but very nice IMO. Focusing it has got to be easier too...

Hi, Jacob. I've actually got it in Nikon rangefinder mount, which doesn't help the adapter situation. They call it an 85/3.5, but, as I understand it, that's just because of the Nikon rangefinder lines, and they're the same lenses. I've only used it a little, so I don't have much of an opinion on it, but I'll stick with the Contax G.

The last 3 lenses were legacy from my Pentax film days. The rest are splurges, enjoying MF photography re-birth!
I also have some fine EF 'L' lenses that are occasionally fitted to the NEX with a budget adapter

The FL35/2.5 was bought at very low cost and I probably should not have sent it off for EF conversion, however I had not found the TS 35/2.8 at that stage.

wanted: Zeiss 100 Makro-Planar when budget permits
a super-wide prime, although the ZM 18 is probably outside my budget. (I have not used my 17-40L for months and may sell that.)

I have two NEX-5N bodies and most of the time I use the 25+50 Zeiss ZM combination or I pair the CV 25/4 with either the M-Hexanon 50/2 or the Canon LTM 50/1.4 (which I’m thinking about replacing with a CV Nokton 50/1.5).

I haven’t included any 28mm or 35mm lenses because 28mm is too close to 25mm and I don’t like the ~50mm eFoV that the 35mm FL provides on APS-C.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when the two native AF Sony E-mount lenses finally arrive...

I bought the items I expect to appreciate first (the G lenses - already had the OM 21). I'm also waiting for the kit with the black 18-55 lens, even though all my G lenses are silver.

There seems to be few, if any, using the Sony Zeiss 24/1.8. I'm curious if anyone has opinions on that lens. Afterall, it autofocuses!

Tamron 70-210/3.8-4 ( don't laugh, it's quite a good lens and I paid 25 Euro

additional lenses which I'm plannig to sell :

SMC Takumar 55/1.8
Fujinon 55/1.8
Konica Hexanon AR 35/2.8

Budget allowing I'd upgrade the CV 15/4.5 and the FD 24/2, but anything on the 15-16mm. range much better than the Heliar 15, it's out of my reach.
If the Zeiss 24/1.8 turned out to be stellar, I'd replace also my Canon FD 24, but the samples I've seen from the Zeiss aren't that good, specially for the laCA.
