Hi,
I have been playing a bit with Photomatix and decided to use it on a series of shots I took in the neighboring town. It was just a really flat light day. I would appreciate any critique or comments.
Thanks, Kathy
Kathy, it's a cool shot, I love the details on sky, boat and water.
However, looks like Photomatix played a trick with you - the area of the sky bordered by the cables is lighter with lower contrast then the rest.

Thanks, I can see that now. I guess Photomatix saw the cables as a border or edge and handled the inside areas separately. Is there a way to prevent that from happening? Maybe a bit of selective burning in LR might help.
I appreciate the comments.
