With the exception of what appears to be a Ford Pinto in the car line up, picture one could have been taken 60 years ago...

Very beautiful country up there, I've been up as far north as Fort Nelson for work...I only wish I had brought my camera then!

Thanks for all the looks- and the comments.
The quonset hut church was converted from an abandoned WWII military building. Made of metal.
Ft Nelson- ah, the edge of the northern Great Prairies. The Alaska Highway shoots west from Nelson and right into the Rockies- the most beautiful part of the 1,500-mile-long road. Next time go west young man
