Shot at Scheffield Mills N.S. All with the 1D MKIII + 1.4XTC ver. II on a tripod using a Jobu Jr3 head.
Hope you like them. Have been afraid of using the TC handheld becuz of mixed results , this is my first attempt on moving birds using a gimbal head.

Paul, those are some impressive shots.
I can not shoot BIF off a gimbal head, and god knows I have tried, unless the bird is large and follows an easy flight path, something like a distant GBH flyby.

Yes it is different with a gimbal, I can see I need a lot of practice, if I could just learn to keep both eyes open. Thanks for commenting
