Some shots of a nice little place called Sacred Canyon, near Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges, South Australia. It contains some nice Aboriginal stone engravings, which can be seen as the circles visible on the rock wall to the right of image #3.
In shot #4, I've attempted to capture the character of an old River Red Gum using an intentionally over-exposed shot for a high key look. I not sure that it works but any input would be appreciated.
Wayne:
I like the processing on he black and white photos here and the arrid look of the second. The fourth is just too overexposed for my taste, maybe it's the white looking sky. A combination with a correct exposure for sky and the lighter tree might work, but might be very tedious to achieve.

Wayne,
looks like a very photogenic place.
I like #1 and 3 a lot. #3 could benefit from being shot a bit wider, so it's centered, with tree not cut off. It would be great to emphasize the almost equal angle of the tree on the right and rock wall on the left, so they frame the image. Bringing out the contrast in reflection and making water a bit darker will make picture more dynamic.
As with #4, it is much easier to bring attention to lighter objects than to darker ones. If you have shots of the same tree but with normal exposure, you can try to lighten it, and then use gradient mask so it leaves the central part lighter.
I love the first 3 Wayne, great stuff, not sure about the colours in the red gum shot, the greens are seem off to me. but that may have been your intention
