I find it interesting that the Moon rise I captured earlier in the evening, in the "Moonrise" thread, looks more like a composite than the composite I made later because the Moon was too high to fit in the water reflection of the bay.
It was taken with the same 400mm lens at the same time, pausing only a moment to tip up the tripod head. The Moon was simply higher in the sky. Therefore, the realistic composite.
