Long story short: My friends and I recorded a Christmas Album. It was filled with overtly cheesy renditions of classic holiday songs. We, therefore, needed overtly cheesy pictures to make an album and album cover with. Here are the results:
I had brought a pretty good lineup of strobes, triggers, and modifiers to shoot this with, but the lighting was ultimately accomplished with a 42" piece of foamcore taped to a microphone stand reflecting a lamp. Yep... my friends are videographers and were frightened by the strobes.
I found #6 to be "best in show". Some of your other shots have some compositional issues - a hand cut off here and there, or a crop that goes too far down the leg etc. It's hard to argue with the expressions in the one you chose for your "cover", however.
Fun shots. They are all underexposed a bit and some are a bit soft focus -- looks like you were working at very high ISO. If you could get the whole scene brighter and work at a lower ISO I think you'll be happier with the results (though it could require some HDR techniques to keep the tree lights bright vs the rest of the scene).
