So I went up to Lock and Dam 14 on January 29 and 30th, Hoping to see tons of Eagles!
Well much to my surprise the action was Really really slow compared to last year at this time... turns out I got lucky and was able to find a few birds hanging around the river in various spots until the action picked up back at the dam!
I met lot's of new people, as well as a few good buddy's I met last year, Larry and Burt... great to have people to talk to while the birds are just siting in the trees doing their thing
I did shoot most of these with the canon 800mm 5.6 and the 7d but in most cases at the dam its just too long for fishing shots lots of clipped wings!
I am going to post some fishing pictures I shot with the 100-400mm and the 40d soon as I get them ready!
Thanks for taking a look, hope you enjoy c&c always welcome!
Caleb
Sharp detail in all of these Caleb, very well done with the big gun.
My only suggestion is to watch the whites which are pretty hot in many of these.
Love #3.
Nice work Caleb, looks like you came home with plenty to be happy about!! I like 3 the speed skater for the unique pose and 4 because it is a great topside shot
