Too dark. The sky shows the last bit of sunset and the colors are very nice. I bet this photo would have had far more impact had you snapped it 15-20 mins earlier. Did you?

I like the comp and subject of the photos, but the nice saturated sunset colors would've made things a little more interesting.
Nice shot though.
I like it Morris, but agree with the critique.
There is something a bit funny with the comp. While I expect my eye to be pulled down the length of the dock, instead I first get pulled across the water to the band of lights. Then down the dock which leads to much less.
I'd experiment with the timing, different POV's.
