I’m still sneaking in a couple of workups in my free time from our Bald Eagle Tours last November in Haines, Alaska. (Hope to get them all done by next November)
CC always welcome !!

Finding a dry spot to perch on was not easy this year in Haines for the Bald Eagles. We watched this one particular branch on a snow covered tree become the favorite for one after another eagle.

It is amazing to watch smaller birds approach the Bald Eagle while its feeding. While they are only looking for scraps, the eagles can see this as a challenge for its food and don't hesitate to attack the offending bird.
