I'm looking to do an easily swapable portfolio (sort of a la Jeremy Cowart) to present to photo editors at magazines and newspapers. I already have my book and binding method that I'm going to use, but I just found out my normal lab doesn't offer any kind of double-sided print.
So what I need is somewhere that will print an 11x14, double sided, probably either matte or lustre - not sure which one I want yet. I also have access to a Canon i9900 13 inch wide printer, so if anyone knows of any paper that might do the trick, I could try printing myself.
Thanks Chuck. I did ask WHCC about it and they said they didn't have anything that would work for me. I'd rather not mount it if there are other options.
I do not think anyone makes double sided photo paper. I believe they are all just two pieces of photo paper glued together. I believe this is even how adorama pix makes their albums.
3m 77 adhesive?
If you are willing to do press print or inkjet prints then it is easy, but I am a believer in photo paper
I think you'll have to go with some specialty inkjet paper company, just like how Cowart used. I think he even mentioned the type of paper he was using.
Why not try printing a few prints off and adhering them yourself?
I've had luck doing these by printing them centered on a sheet, then gluing them together, then trimming.
This way you can try a few different papers and switch them out within an hour if you feel so inclined.
