Just curious btw - quite new in Lightroom. What are your preferred NR + sharpness settings for high ISO (800 and above) 1d2 files?

Considering some ppl dont have or dont want to shed that much money for new camera I think its pretty useful comparsion.

Btw. dunno why, but I cant find any good reason why should one buy 1DX. D4 I understand that it will have most likely really amazing high ISO and such, but kinda not sure either of those two is worth it. For 1DsMK3 users is 1DX kinda downgrade and doubt they will actually buy it, seems more like 1D MKIV replacement, but "free" 1.3x teleconvertor is actually nice to have (I think most 1D users like that its APS-H not full-frame).

On positive side, older cameras will be cheaper.

1DsMK3 is starting to have some nice prices on second hand market..

If you like the 1d2, you should try a 1dsmkII.

IMO it is still the best canon ever

Please, no more pictures! I found an as new 1DsII for 2k, I can't afford it...know I shouldn't...wife would kill me...tax season is coming...don't you dare try to convince me with pictures.

The images at low ISO's did seem to have a wonderful color and presence to them. Unfortunately, high ISO's, even 800 were noisy.

The lack of 64 bit support finally made me sell mine two years back, when I switched 6 of my pc's to windows 7 64 bit.

What am I supposed to be seeing here besides lens LoCa?

Common with relatively fast glass...and we know you don't like LoCa...but some find it pleasing.There are those who would find it's quite pleasing in this image and would look great framed on someone's wall.
