I think this is a nice composition, but it's missing something. Clouds would definitely help. Now why did you use HDR on this, there doesn't seem a reason to have used it.

I don't think you overdid any toning here. It's a good composition and pleasing exposure. I do agree though that some clouds would help this.

Craig, I like the comp and sharp. Ditto Jim on HDR unless you were trying to bring out the trees a bit....but, not overdone. You need clouds...clouds are good...do the cloud dance! Either way, nice scene.
