Rick Schump and I went to the South West states the last week of October, and the first week of November. We went on a hike to a double arch sand stone cliff. The pictures are from the last day of our trip before we headed back home to Washington State. We started out in the early morning.
The mirror had fallen off my 5D on the first day of the trip, so we went back home for Ricks backup 5D camera. Thanks for the loan Rick.
Canon has fixed the camera free of charge, and it has been working fine since.
1) Early morning with a cranky tree.
2) The double arch cliff. Really a cave, shelf, an an arch in the cliff. This was a 21 picture stitch using Microsoft ICE.
2) Racing leaves.
Comments are welcome.
Bev Thanks for looking. #1 actually looks better full resolution. #2 was as good as it could get with the bright sky, and the darkened sandstone face. We were probably only 75 feet from the cave.
Jim Thank you for the comment. When we came up to the tree on the trail, it appeared off center with the peak. I had to set up the trypod in the middle of a small stream to center the peak under the wrapping branch.
