Taken on the most eastern point in North America (Cape Spear Newfoundland) right befoer a large wind/snow storm hit off the coast. The actually file is sharper than this for whatever reason
Great shot, love the composition and the mood of the shot. The small areas of color really stand out from the general larger areas without much saturation and also make the shot more visually interesting. And the great DOF gives the picture that wonderful 3D feeling like we could step right into it (but not before we put something warm on ) if we wanted to.
TJ- I like the shot. Only a couple of things: see Jim's comments, and maybe crop a little from the top...too much sky IMHO. Otherwise, liking your shot for sure!
This is a very nice image TJ. I agre with Dejan about the crop. The main interests here are the lighthouse and the snow-covered foreground so I would definitely lose some of the sky to focus in those areas.
