Within the small village's protective circle of brambles, the old woman was babysitting a group of boys- who had been told to hold still so the paying foreign visitors could take photographs. Except for that, there was nothing "staged" for us, and the clothing was their daily fare.
Charlie, I wish there was just a little bit more image on the left side and the mens toes weren't cut off.

I like this one Charlie....and I echo Chris's point, shot would have been great with bit more on left...or, you could crop till the kid with the stick (or till wthe kid with waving hand) and keep the focus on just the right side portion of the picture....
Charlie, I think the first one is better.
To clone out the kids is very hard to do and the missing feet of the man don't work for me.
You could do a very minor crop in the same ratio. Just make sure the those of the boy are all in.
This will also cut off the toes of the man a bit more. Very hair splitting comment actually.
