I like #1, that's a pretty cool shot, the sky in #2 I don't like as much.
I will say that adding the camera model to you title isn't something you have to do, there is nothing special about the 5D that made this shot... Any modern camera could have. We really aren't about specific cameras here...

I am doubtful a crop body camera could capture as much detail as these shots.
These were taken around F22, on a crop body camera diffraction sets in much earlier. The first shot I have blown up to 36x24 still with detail.

Crop bodies do pretty well... but the point is... no in here is going to care what camera you used... what we care about is what the finished shot looks like.
