Took the day off work today and headed to a couple of my local ponds. The early morning trip was reasonably productive although the light was poor and there was still some surface ice around. These were the biggest of the birdies in or beside the water.

No.3 has thyat eye-to-eye with a bird which always works well.
As Jude has mentioned, the last one shows abit of ISO noise which should be very easy to clean up.
Also, the last one has the best background blur and subject isolation.....I don't know if that is due to the geometry of the shot or you opened up the lens.

Thanks Peter. The last one was on full zoom with the lowest f stop, hence the nice bokeh.
