Mid Geyser Basin.
As the water flows from the boiling hot springs to the Firehole River, it begins to cool.
As it cools, algae grow. Different kinds of algae grow in different temperatures.
Hence the many and varied colors of the outflow.

The steam was rising from a very large hot springs, and a slight breeze kept it low for awhile.
