I set the camera on manual setting with the following: iso 3200, f3.2, and shutter speed of 500. At this level (peewee), am not sure if I want to go slower than 500 as they are moving pretty fast already. Last year when my son was in squirt, I was able to use 400 for some actions.
ok, I was shooting at 250 and iso 800 the other day. 250 wasn't quite fast enough to completely stop motion on all the shots. problem is that I found iso 800 already gave a very grainy texture to the picture. I fear what my 5d2 would do at iso 3200...
5D2 should be able to do iso 3200 very well. I use 7D . What I have learned from this board was that to reduce the noise, you need to slightly over expose the shot. I set my camera in M with the settings above.
