A fine find. Both images evoke paintings, whether through cubic-like patterns in the derelict house (N° 1), or the beautiful brush-like definition in the clouds and grasses (N° 2).

Two goodies, Klaus.
In the first image, it's hard to tell if you tilted the image or not (I suspect you did ). But it doesn't matter because the whole house consists of tilting this-and-that. I love this shot.

I really love these kinds of images. First more than the second, by a hair.
The lighting, processing is great in both. I like the downed tree pulling the eye across the image. Great stuff, Klaus.

Loved both of these shots. Slightly eerie, very evocative and gorgeous compositions both. You can hear the wind blow...
Here in rural upstate NY, this would be posted on the MLS sites as "fix me upper" or "handyman special with lots of personality", asking $90 / ft(2).
Thanks for sharing.
I should take a shot of the house around the corner from me here in Detroit. It's a burned out shell with a sign on the front that says "Rent for $129 p/month". Best part...the sign went up after it burned down...and it really burned. Even more unlivable than "Klaus' Fixxer Upper".
Can you share what work you did in post? I love B&W images, but struggle to get the dynamic range, whites and blacks balanced. Would love to know your process.
First is a great subject.
Second is also an excellent composition, but a subject I could imagine overlooking.
Not to worry, Klaus. You have turned both into stellar images with your dreamy processing and excellent eye.
