So Jackie and I have a few months here where we do not have weddings and are implimenting "Brand Update 2012". First stage was an overhaul of our basically non existant way to cohesively package things... dvd's, prints, albums etc.
We have been using a company called Loktah and they have been amazing.
Jackie did most of the legwork on these. She likes the company because they are using reclaimed material and have plenty of options with a format that fits our liking.
The print insert is REALLY nice for anyone who is into things like that.
Here are a few images.
We are offering the DVD's with a picture on them that the client can choose or a "general" logo design with no picture.
Next on the list is our website which is currently being handled by Rawfolio. I will have that up in the coming weeks for everyone to try to destroy

Awesome.. do you print the DVD your self or you order it too? I am always afraid I mess up my DVD burning and have to wait another week for new custom printed DVD.
I've looked at Loktah for a while; but I'll be honest. My main concern is how long the packaging will hold up. From what I remember, it's fairly inexpensive. That's what scares me. I see you got one of the press-print books. Is that quality stuff, or does it come off as something you printed and stuck in yourself. The print quality of even something like that add-on would be important to me. Just looking for your impression of longevity and print quality. I'm very happy with my DVD printing from Miller's, but I am interested in this packaging.
Another question: Say a blank DVD comes to you printed, and you go to burn the data on it, and an error occurs. What happens then? Order a new one?
BTW those look boss.
Thanks! I was looking for ways to improve my package branding. This place looks promising including the natural packaging which fits my "prefer all things natural" personality.
I just buy 2-3 DVDs ...
For us the price is great... No fuss
As for how they hold up... So far so good.
I mean realistically people are going to get them show them around and then most likely put it on a shelf somewhere to gather dust.
As long as the initial wow factor is there and it matches with the look and feel of the wedding and albums etc all is well for us.
Got approved for an account and saw the prices for the albums. Way too much for my current clients. Guess I will just be sticking to the dvd case and dvd printing.
