My favorite of the Cinque Terre towns.
I have shots of the whole town from the north (100's of examples of this view on the net), but the approach from the south is sublime. Not even a hint of the massively sculpted face of stone and plaster around the corner.
The last shot is just as interesting (@least to me) as the rest of the town. These are the homes further up the hill, this home is pure minimalist design.

Nice series Greg, I like the last, because of all the things you included. Is that a wood gutter under the balcony ? The second really captures the town essence, though if it was my shot, I'd get rid of the Bar sign...
Thanks for the look!
What a cool place to see! Did you spend the night there? #1 and 2 are my favorites. I agree on 2, crop just enough to lose that Bar sign at the bottom.
Thanks Zeph, I don't know if it is wood but that would make sense.
Thanks timkoo.
Thanks Jim. No we stayed 4 nights in Vernazza, and explored up and down. The place was empty.
I will remove the bar sign. The bar signs were a theme of our hike though. Stopping in at a small, empty bar for a glass of the local white and some bread, was a lot of fun, and made the train trip back to Vernazza mandatory.

A wonderful series, Greg.
That part of the world of cities and towns is as fascinating as any- and much more so than most.
And you took away some beauties.
