p.1 #1 · Where is the dust?

I see way too many dust particles when looking through the viewfinder. I have cleaned the sensor, the mirror and focusing screen as well. I still see all of them. The pictures do not have a speck of dust which tells me that sensor is not a problem. How do I get rid of it. Though it does not affect the images, it just bugs me to look at dust sprinkled all over during shooting. I am using a 5D Classic.

That is a really useful post "dcains".

But I have a feeling this is not for the faint of heart.

I did something similar on my old Canon 20D - but without this type of great instruction.

Don't ask me how it came out All I can say is that I am happy that Canon sells small internal parts for reasonable prices.
