Other than I have to go "Oui oui," my French isn't very good. If "au-revoir" means "until next time," then yes. I've got many hundreds of Death Valley slides in my closet, and I come upon them quite often.

I am sure, given how extensively you have traveled the world and your life, that your French is a lot more than just oui-oui. For example you must have discovered that there is no French translation for ketchup . And you're right. Au revoir means until next time, whereas adieu is forever. Looking forward for the next DV installments
