I want to know what do you guys use to create DVD slideshow that can be played on any computer or regular DVD player and watched on TV. I've tried in past using Aperture and most of time it has worked well but problem with it is the pictures donot look as good as they normally look on computer screen when watched on HD TV. I userstand it could be related to resoultion as TV screens are normally calibrated at 1920x1080 and may not show pictures at correct aspect ratio. I want to know how do you guys deliver pictures on DVD to your clients ?
E-motion media. When I did slideshows for clients I tried practically every subscription service and software available and theirs was by and far my favorite.

When I was with emotion, it was a yearly fee. Not sure if it still is as I don't do slide shows anymore.
So if I may ask you how do you deliver things electronically ? I understand lot of people go for prints but I'm just starting and want to give my friend a DVD that she can distribute to her family and friends. Any other suggestions ?
DVDs are a maximum of 720x480 on US players. Combine that with MPEG-2's compression and the propensity of HDTVs to oversharpen everything and you will never get as clear of images as you can see on your computer screen. The only way to get clearer is to go Blu-ray, but those players are still not overly widespread.
Does anyone have info on cheap downloadable generic music for slideshows ? Tried Triple Scoop but they are too pricey. I used to have a sight many years ago that I used but have gotten out of slideshows. Want to start up again on Youtube.

I think that seems to be main reason behind all craping out of images on HDTV from DVD.
Thanks to those that recommended ProShow. I just tried it and think it is awesome. Quick and easy to use. Lots and lots of options to choose from. Here's the " target="_blank" rel="nofollow">first slideshow I did with the program. Probably took less than 20 minutes.

Stock20.com uses instrumentals and sells for $20 per song. Each song comes with several different tracks/variations. Royalty-free. Your first song is free to download. If you're PPA, I think the next order is 10% off. What I did was I purchased their Volume 1 album that has bunch of songs and tracks in it for $200.
