All shots strobed. Used Sb900s 1/4 power, zoomed @ 70mm. Used a Quantum Turbo SC battery pack, triggered via PW's.

Before the insurance police jump all over this, yes I am insured and allowed to strobe this gym.

Not by best, just my faves.

Some really good shots here. #1, 3, and 6 are cool, but 7 is awesome. I don't like the fourth shot because of the shadows caused by the flash. If you number your pics when you post this many it's easier for people to let you know their take on your pics. Just a suggestion.

I like them......Some of them have the harsh shadows but overall well done.

I am actually going to set up some speedlight strobes this weekend for some University BBall.......

I have SB-28's that I am planning on firing!!

#6 is the best in my opinion. The rest have really harsh lighting and shadows. Not my cup of tea.

The strobe lighting to too obvious and dominating. I always was taught that it shouldn't change the nature of the shot very much at all, but rather just brighten it up some. When viewing these the first thing that comes to mind is "STROBED".

You have light coming from an unnatural angle that blows out part of the shooter's face in the first; very unnatural shadow on face in #8. #5 begs for a faster shutter speed instead of the shadow of a backboard around the player's head. Crop tighter in #7 to get rid of the ceiling lights at the top of the frame.
