Just curious if anyone knows if the Billingham Hadley small bag will hold an iPad in the back inside pocket?

Not sure about the Small, but my Pro holds my iPad 2 back there very well. No padding on the back, though, so treat it gently.

Yes, the iPad-2 (with smart cover) fits perfectly in the "pocket" formed between the camera insert and the rear of the Hadley Small bag.

It "may" cause the bag to not carry as well as the bag will no longer "form" to your body contour ... may not actually matter in practice however.
