And here are a few of my 4 year old. He won his first match yesterday and it was neat to get to see him wrestle kids his own size. NOrmally he wrestles kids that are heavier and older and bigger. But we had a 35 lb. weight class and he is 32 pounds.
I can't lay down on the mat because there are parents everywhere and I need to be able to move out of the way quick if the action comes at me.
If I do lay down, the ref's will take me off the mat. Some rules I have to follow.......... And that is a rule in our league. I ma lucky enough to be able to get on the mat right now.
I must say that I'm continually impressed by the results you are getting from this setup. I like the action and isolation you are getting and no, I don't think you are too high up... I think it's fine.
I agree with Paul, these are looking good. I really like the ones that get the extra pop from the off camera flash. I'd watch cutting off limbs in some, if you do then crop even tighter.
I need to work on my framing for sure. One thing I noticed was that I am causing many images to be blurry by not holding the camera tight or bracing myself properly.
I'll try and work on my framing while keeping my technique sound. I have noticed limbs being cut off quite a bit lately.

Great shots of your little guy.
Thanks Paul, I am experimenting a little bit but all auto with the flashes works really wee. My Rf-602's don't seem to make a good connection on the Classic for some reason so I need that 580 on camera for now.
And there is no money for a new body or even triggers right now.
