I just can't get over their thickness. Rugged beauties Larry. All are pleasing images with #2 being my portrait pick of the bunch.
#5 I like but feel it is a little too tight on the left side, adding some canvas would be easy though
I can't imagine being smacked by one of these guys! They are huge!!
Sounds like a great day out with Tim

Larry, it is interesting to compare your images with Tim's. All conditions were identical, I guess, and also both of yous might have used the same lens (i.e., 500 f/4).
Very nice shots, but the ram's portrait No#3 takes the cake in my books. Those dried grasses add interest to the shots although they may also create a bit of a visual interferrence like in #1.
Lastly, it pains me to have to agree with Karl on this one: the #5 framing is a bit too snug.

Thank you Karl, I am glad you think they are pleasing and that you have a favorite
#5, you're right and I should have, but when I was processing it, I had a brain fart and forgot that I knew how to do that now..haha what a dunce I am sometimes
I really did have a good time, I just wish we could have gotten a little deeper in the canyons.. oh well, next time

Thanks Peter, I appreciate the pick and yeah, it is always interesting to see when you are shooting with someone else, how they approach things and the differing results due to angle or lens choice etc. and it doesn't pain me at all, you are both right it needs a little more room

What amazing looking animals. You guys must have had a great time creeping up on these guys. They look to have a very weird looking eyes with rectangular pupils...a don't ever seem to be looking at you. Great job Lar.
