p.1 #1 · Which shot is cleaner?!?

Which shot is has more noise? Both were shot at 50mm, 1/25, ISO 1600.

I can't tell, the images are all too small.

I think #2 is cleaner with these old eyes (might be an excuse)

galenapass - flickr resized them, apparently, and that's the only hosting I'm using right now...

Can't tell on the noise, but the first image WB looks off, little pinkish hue to it versus the second one.

I'd pick #2 as "cleaner" because the sheets look cleaner

contrast is different, so useless comparison for noise

Please don't mistake a shot of an unmade bed for a serious test shot! I just wanted to get a few more eyes on this, and I thank you all for taking the time to look. (Nice one, btw, Clover13!)

Wasn't expecting to see a drastic difference one way or the other, I just wanted to double check that I wasn't imagining anything. I didn't see a significant difference in the noise, and that's what I wanted to get feedback on. The first shot is a Canon T2i, second shot is a Nikon D70, both unprocessed RAW shots exported to JPEG through Lightroom. Not the best test, of course, but enough to confirm (for me) that the processing in the T2i is way too noisy, if the D70 can keep up with it.

I think I might be going back to Nikon...
