I'm not sure where the "distortion look" comes from, but kudos for finding it and using it so well.

Charlie this is a short walk from our home in the nature preserve next to our house.
The pictures were taken on different days, I appreciate your comment.

I have kind of done than Tim, just never put a collection together.

The first one for me. I like the lighting, contrast and textures on the walkway, its symmetric presentation and abstract look, the latter being nicely balanced by a touch of realism (the dried grasses).

Thanks for the feed back santiago, the light on the first one is later afternoon, best light in winter for me.
