p.1 #1 · Easy rain protection with RS-4

I had posted a while ago about how much I like this strap.... well during yesterdays rain storm I found another reason to love it.

I just posted a short blog post about this HERE ( http://www.bobkeenanphoto.com/black-rabid-strap-rs4-rain/ ), but the short version is that I got caught in a rain with my camera hanging at the end of my Black Rapid RS-4 strap (which I love) and was worried about rain damage as we were walking and about a mile from home. Then I had a brilliant, well I thought is was brilliant, idea of stopping at the grocery store that we were at and grabbing a produce bag. Well it fit. Later I found that really flimsy bags can be stuffed into the little bag on the strap. So it will always be there.
You can see picture of this in the blog.

I have an RS-4, and putting a rain cover in the pocket is a great idea -- thanks!

You can just put the plastic bag over the dslr too while it is hanging from your strap. or poke small hole and feed the buckle through it then attach the camera to make a camera raincoat. I did that alot when i was backpacking.
