I took my SB lights out for a try at strobed basketball again on Thursday and I was reminded how badly I need to get some mono lights. Sadly 2 BIG jobs (a small league T&I and a kindergarten/4th grade cap and gown assignment) fell through this week. I was looking forward to those to fund some AB's.

Jeff you can get by with speed lights just need to know where to put them! As well their limitations as they can't be used like mono lights or pack lights. Generally I use them direct whereas I would use mono lights bounced...
