It's been a while since I have posted so here are some images from my yearly trip to the North Shore.
This was my first trip to the North Shore since the tragic loss of fellow FMer Michael Rogers.
Weather was bad most of the trip and swells were slow in getting started this season but Michael sent some Epic surf for the Pipe Masters.
Damn Michael, this is a stunning set. Lots of beauty and action, but my hands down favorite is the last shot of the first group. Clean composition of a moment of realization. Hope he wasn't as caught inside as this hints at.
Michael....like Tom said...this is a stunning series which makes it difficult to pick favs but I'll give it a go with 4, 6, 7 and the last one. Also with 4-5 inches of overnight snow on the ground....I wish I was there.
Michael, these look great on my shiny new iPad! I thought you must have been caught in the wave drought but looks like you got the timing of your visit right. How long were you there?
I see you haven't lost your touch with the motion blur shots. I like them all.
Cheers
Davis
Michael: WOW. A few of these shots just take my breath away. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing them. No doubt Michael Rogers would be proud to have his memory associated with this set.
Michael thanks for sharing these wonderful motivating images. Thanks also for acknowledging our 'patron' Mr Rogers. Photos 2, 6, 7 and 12 might be my favourites out of an inspirational set of images.
