I got to do some shooting at the 2012 Crashed Ice in St. Paul, Minnesota last weekend.
I was there with the entertainment company providing music and some spinning getting some video of the halftime performance.
I don't do much sport shooting other than snowboarding, so having to work with all the limitations native to an event like this took me by surprise.

If you turned around and took pictures of them going off the jump just after the first two pictures, you probably have some pictures of me!
Did you happen to walk down that path and take pictures below the jump? I had a couple photographers stroll through and take some pics standing right next to me.
Haha nope, that is not me. That guy was super-cool though, I believe he was a red bull photographer.
I was with the DJ company shooting video for promotional materials, so in between spinning I snuck away to get some shots of the races. I couldn't venture very far away from the DJ area
