Great shots all, brings back memories when I was there in 1970, while I was in the Marine Corps. I spent three days in Rome that I will never forget, beautiful city, my only regret was that I didn't have a camera with me. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to for my next chance to go back. I really like 2. 4 would be nice without as much haze, but you were lucky to not get rain!
Great shots! the only thing I wanted to mention would improve on image 4 is it might need straightened a little bit. At the bottom where the statues are lined up on the railing you can see the frame wasn't lined up. Nit picky but still something
- MS -: Unfortunately you are not allowed to bring a tripod into the church. However, pictures are allowed.
Dale_A: Thanks for your input.
Strid3r: Thanks!
BertoBuckeye: You got a point there. Personally I just realized that there is an airplane in the upper left corner. Bugs me a bit, but I'm too lazy to re-edit :P
Malkovic Sir, unique angles, composition and technical aspects of each shot was a masterpiece. It brings back memories of my Roman holidays. How did you manage that breathtaking shot of the Vatican overlooking the square. Where you allowed to go on top of the Vatican Palace roof, or you were in a building behind the Palace??
nanhi: Thank That shot is taken from the top of the St. Peter's Basilica. For the roughly 500 steps up to the top, , I paid 5 euros... Anyhow, it is opened for the public.
Have you got any more to share, my wife and I are planning holidays part of which are 3 weeks in italy. Could I ask what was your most used lens ? regards
