p.1 #1 · Gerbera Shame - Converted

Thanks for looking!

Greg

for those that notice, I forgot to change the non-CPU lens data in my camera. I have three manual focus lenses and I'm still getting used to having to tell the camera which lens it is. For the record, it's the Nikon 105 f/2.8 Micro.

Greg:
I like your titile here as well as your conversion and processing. I can't help wondering what they would look like from the back as shown here. Are these the formerly proud daisies?

Hi Douglas, yes, these are actually the subject of my previous post. They've hung on for well over a week, but I'm sad to say their days are numbered...

Great shot - and great title. My only quibble is that I with that nearest part of the stem - near the Y - was in better focus/exposure.

But don't get me wrong, this is striking.

Greg, nice B&W conversion. I think I like it even more than the color version.

Thanks Bill...perhaps i should have used focus stacking on this...still learning the best focus techniques with MF lenses....

Thanks Chris. I'm up in the air about which I like better, but I appreciate the nod towards this one!

Great title here.
I didn't really pay attention to the title until after I opened the shot. My first thought was, "shy."
So, yes, this is great in my opinion.
A composition not likely normally considered, and you've made it all work.

Thanks Tim...you know I have to throw an oddball in there once in a while...stupid imagination! Besides, these were begging to be shot differently as I didn't want to wire them upright and then have to clone out the wire!

Very nice!

Did you use Photoshop for the conversion or some other software?

Thank you.
