I have been using three 1Ds III bodies and a 7D in Kenya for the past few years. It would have been nice to have had a 1D-X or two most recently, but maybe next time.

Well I don't know about tomorrow, but I'm as happy as a pig in sh!t. Just contacted by Canon that a 1D IV has just come into stock on staff purchase and I snapped it up. I can't tell you the price but it would make you cry.

Now I have to either sell my mint 1D III or 7D.

Canon, we said we'd buy for $3500 it if it had 8fps, not 6fps...how about fixing this??
