Here is a piece of technology that many of you probably remember. Back in 2002 Sony released he Mavica FD100. It was just 1.2 megapixel, but it did the work. They though of evertying when made this wonder camera.

I bought this one from Amazon 6 months ago, but just today decided to go out and enjoy taking photos with it.

Meanwhile Canon also delivered the 1Ds in 2002, the first pro FF DSLR at 11MP.

It must have been before 2002. I had a 1.5MP Kodak DC260 in 97 or 98...

I think the floppy disk was the last open-standard storage option Sony ever used.

How much would they have to pay you to use this 20 year old camera? 1.3MP with shoulder mounted storage unit…you think the form-factor of CF cards is big?
