Yes, I am reviving this thread ..... because the D800 shouldn't get all of the glory! I spent the last weekend shooting almost exclusively with the V1... and this was one of my fav's from the weekend. Processed with snapseed on my ipad.

I have taken my Nikon 1 V1 to Pittsburgh, PA with the 300 2.8 VR and 1.7 TC mounted via the FT-1. I created this image with a map of my shooting location and target location to help illustrate 1377mm of "reach".

I'd like to know if the Tamron 70-300mm VC maintains AF and VC with Nikon V1 + FT1. John Hanon has show a picture of dragongly with this combo, but I don't know if the AF and VC were working in it.

I just ordered a white Nikon J1 with the kit lens for my sister from Adorama. Figured she would like it as it matches her White iPhone 4s.

This will be replacing her 20D and 17-85 IS camera.
