Don't know how I missed this. I like the implication of the sun (life ,warmth) against the withering vine. Also looks like the sun is watching the vine wither.

Thanks Birdie, You probably missed it because it was such a late entry In Tucson, we had some foul weather but it wasn't very spectacular so I had to try a different tack.
